Applications can be submitted online or via mail, or the applicant can call the Assurance Wireless phone number to see if they qualify. Assurance Wireless phones are modern mobile phones with a wide range of standard features such as voicemail, call waiting and caller ID. The basic plan is a free phone and 250 free minutes plus unlimited domestic text messages each month (unused minutes do not rollover into the next month), but there are specials, differences in some states, and additional plans that can be purchased.
