Description
New Eyes provides children and adults facing financial hardship across the United States with eyeglasses. Applicants must have an eyeglasses prescription within 24 months of application. It must provide their pupillary distance. Applications are submitted online, preferably through a social service agency/health advocate. Individuals who do not have access to an agency may apply directly but must provide proof of eligibility (indigency). Applicants will be provided with a basic pair of glasses with a single or lined bifocal line. Applicants must order their glasses through New Eyes’ online eyeglasses dispenser at https://www.neweyesglasses.org/ .
