Description
The Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT) is a statewide, grassroots, tenant-controlled, tenant-rights organization. CAT educates, organizes and develops the leadership of low-income tenants. They operate a Renters Rights Hotline. The Renters’ Rights Hotline gives tenants detailed information about their rights and practical suggestions to help protect those rights. CAT can help renters anywhere in Oregon, however callers may need to join CAT as a member if they’re not in one of CAT’s funded counties. Their funded counties are: Multnomah, Washington, Jackson, Marion, Deschutes and Coos.
