Using their backgrounds in tech and finance, they build digital tools that make financial education and resources accessible to survivors through a trauma-informed lens. FinAbility provides free 1:1 financial counseling sessions for survivors of domestic abuse and advocates who support them. Their financial counselors are trauma- informed and have completed FinAbility’s certification process. Sessions are held virtually, allowing individuals to participate from anywhere. All that is needed is access to a phone or the internet. In partnership with Financial Beginnings, FinAbility also offers free, online personal finance classes.
