Description
Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling opened a Community Counseling Center (CCC), dedicated to providing high quality, low-cost mental health services to the community. They offer limited services in Spanish. Counseling intake is $15 and sliding scale $5-75 based on client income. Services provided include:
- Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy Counseling Services including marriage and relationship discord, gender identity, sexuality, sex and intimacy, discrimination and hate incidences, trauma, social injustice, grief/loss, eating concerns, and co-occurring substance use counseling.
- Problem Gambling Services: Long-term ongoing support is available, as well as intensive short-term treatment. Can have a 1-2 month waitlist but check with clinic.
L&C CCC is partnered with Portland United Against Hate (PUAH) for their Hate and Bias Response team which acts as a point of contact for individuals and families who have experienced hate-based incidences to receive support and advocacy.
