Description
The mission of Native American Rehabilitation Association (NARA) NW is to provide education, physical and mental health services and substance abuse treatment that is culturally appropriate to American Indians, Alaska Natives and anyone in need.
The NARA NW Youth Program is prevention oriented and family focused. Through group activities, events, and staff support, the Youth Program strives to strengthen the resiliency of our youth. This program empowers youth to have a positive identity by teaching Native American/Alaska Native culture and values. NARA NW Youth Program offers weekly activity groups and skill development opportunities. It provides a safe space for youth age 10 -24.

NARA NW strives to encourage and strengthen the value of elders in our families and community. The NARA NW Elders Program holds regular lunches and partners with and hosts the Portland Indian Elders Support Group (PIES-G).
